Battles of the American Revolution

 

Incredibly important battles were fought on New Jersey soil that changed history. The second battle of Trenton left a bloody bridge and gave a significant win to General Washington. The constant winning of battles in New Jersey helped bolster American morale, and gave the French a reason to join the American cause.

 

This lecture chronicles a series of virtiually unknown battles in New Jersey, discussing Washington's tactics, the reality of the British forces, and a general look at Colonial American life.
